Well worth the price. I'm not sure how long the plating will last but I can say it doesn't have as bad a color as some companies do. looks a little darker than typical 14k to my eye but still looks good. No one is going to spot it and call it a fake from around your neck. Being stainless steel it is sturdy the box lock works well the chain doesn't look bad or "feel" fake. that said plus the price point I give it 4 stars all day long. Can not complain. Also if you're ever thinking of buying gold plated items from Imperium Jewelry you are much better off going with HarlemBling.
